Dr. Karthik is a trained physician and hospital management expert with more than 10 years of administrative and clinical experience.
He is a healthcare strategist and a process improvement leader and has worked for one of the top 5 largest for-profit and non-profit health systems and renowned academic medical centers in the U.S.A and Asia.
Dr. Karthik has saved more than $15 million USD for prominent health systems through his lean operations expertise and process improvement methodologies. He was the principal advisor, regional lead, and fellow in performance improvement for leading health systems in USA & India like Dignity Health, Prime Healthcare, Kaiser Permanente, Sri City and SRM Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS).
He holds Master’s in Health Administration (MHA) from USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and bachelor’s in medicine and bachelor’s in surgery (MBBS) from Sri Ramachandra University. He underwent an executive training in Strategic Leadership from Harvard School of Public Health. He is the recipient of the honorary Donald W. Reynolds FD~AGE Fellowship Program in Geriatrics from UCLA School of Medicine, Lean Six Black Belt from Villanova University and Human-Centered Design Thinking training from Ideo.
Dr. Karthik is a member of the American Geriatric Society (AGS), Indian Academy of Geriatrics (IAG), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)-Senior Care and Association of Senior Living India (ASLI). He has published many impactful research papers in leading international journals based in USA, Europe, and India.
With over 20 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry Mr. Srinivasan has been associated with various companies from Pharmaceutical to top Indian hospital groups like Apollo Hospitals and Fortis Healthcare.
He laid a strong base by completing his Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree in Madras University, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration.
He founded a medical tourism firm and healthcare consulting that offered end to end solutions that we were focused on healthcare management consultancy, patient referrals and manpower for medical consulting supporting Healthcare establishments in India, Sri Lanka and Kenya.
Playing a crucial role in designing the vision- 2030 (healthcare) presentation for the Government of Kenya in 2012, it earned him a rain of appreciation from the Kenyan Government.
He established Health Opinion in 2013 a health-aid organization that would give a platform for patients to access suitable treatment options from around the world, allowing medical tourism in India.
In July 2014, he founded Healthabove60, which later became Athulya Home Healthcare, a geriatric home healthcare service provider. and in 2017, he launched Athulya Assisted Living, an exclusive Senior Living rental model.
With over 10 years of experience in the Healthcare industry, Ms. Kavya has been a part of well-known companies and she has also worked in pharmaceutical companies and hospital groups like Fortis Healthcare.
Hailing from a family with a rigid Business background in Chennai, Ms. Kavya completed her bachelor’s in business administration followed by a Post graduate degree in Management and she began her career as an Operational head for a retail store by Aditya Birla group which went on to be the most successful stores from their group in Chennai. She later worked in the Corporate Communications and as the PR executive for Fortis Malar Hospitals, Chennai in 2009.
In 2011, she founded a medical tourism firm and healthcare consulting that offered end to end solutions that we were focused on healthcare management consultancy, patient referrals and manpower for medical consulting supporting Healthcare establishments in India, Sri Lanka and Kenya.
She recognized HealthOpinion in 2013, a health-aid organization that would give a platform for patients to access suitable treatment options from around the world, allowing medical tourism in India.
In July 2014, she founded Healthabove60, which eventually became Athulya Home Healthcare, a geriatric home healthcare service provider, and in 2017, she launched Athulya Assisted Living, an exclusive Senior Living rental model.
